Jane Ellis

Sarah, often known as Jane, is originally from Lincolnshire having been born in Louth and resided here for many years. From a young age, Sarah Jane has travelled extensively with her family as her father served in the Royal Air Force in many countries. The youngest of 5 children, Sarah Jane grew up in a close family unit and values the importance of this. After travelling, Sarah Jane's father retired and the family lived in Cleethorpes.

Whilst in Cleethorpes, Sarah Jane studied at Grimsby College; after which, Jane worked in the Public Service Sector, this included the County Council and Civil Service. Sarah also spent some time as a Special Constable where she thoroughly enjoyed working in the community.

Sarah Jane currently lives in Saxilby with her husband and family including her 2 children. Sarah Jane moved to the village originally in 2007, then left for a short period to live in Stow, however she longed to return to Saxilby and happily did so in 2014.

Both of Sarah Jane's children have attended Saxilby Primary School so she understands the importance of children being provided with a good education that is locally available to the community of Saxilby. Jane has worked as a Mid-Day Supervisor at the School and was also an active member of the Parent Teacher Association.

Sarah Jane is passionate about the Environment and Community, including our local infrastructure. Sarah Jane has a keen interest in improving the quality of our roads for all residents. Sarah wants to ensure the village facilities and services are adequate to meet the changing demands of the future population.

Above all Sarah Jane is a caring, approachable individual who prides herself on being hardworking.
