We are delighted to announce that the Selection Committee of the Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association met at Ingham & Cammeringham Village Hall on Friday evening where they approved Rt. Hon Sir Edward Leigh MP as the Constituency Parliamentary Candidate for the next General Election.    

Prior to the ballot, Sir Edward gave an excellent summary of his time as the Member of Parliament for Gainsborough, focusing particularly on all that had been achieved since the 2019 election. He then took audience questions which covered a range of topics. His overall message was positive and spelled out just how much had been accomplished by the Conservatives while in government and particularly the benefits which the Gainsborough Constituency has received as a result of both Conservative policies and his own efforts in promoting Gainsborough at a national level.
