District Councillor (Wold View Ward)
CPF
  • District Councillors

Tom served as a District Councillor for Market Rasen Ward between May 2015 and May 2019, and at the time he was West Lindsey’s youngest elected councillor, at the age of just 20 years and 11 months. In 2021 he was elected to Lincolnshire County Council in 2021 for the North Wold Division and served until 2025. At the County Council he successfully lobbied for many roads to be re-surfaced, particularly in Keelby and Caistor, and continued to fight on behalf of residents where drainage was an issue, for example in Swallow where he has had success.

Since May 2023, Tom has had the privilege to also represent Wold View residents on West Lindsey District Council.

Tom has a long link with HM Armed Forces and although unable to serve himself, on medical grounds, he has always wanted to help those who have served. He was previously the Armed Forces champion for the District Council and continues to lobby Sir Edward Leigh MP and the Ministry of Defence on numerous issues affecting veterans and their families across the district.

Tom has always been public spirited and wanted to speak up for and represent people. He has been involved with the Board of Governors at one of his previous schools. Since being first elected in 2015 his appetite to be a voice for local people on local issues has only strengthened.
