Ken Woolley

District Council Candidate for the Scotter & Blyton Ward

Kenneth Woolley, lives in Blyton, just north of Gainsborough. Kenneth has worked for the NHS for over thirty years. Currently he works as an Emergency Care Practitioner for the GP Out-of-Hours Service, and can also be found supporting local GP practices from time to time.

He began his NHS working life with Lincolnshire Ambulance Service as a Paramedic both on the road and on the Air Ambulance, and later a Paramedic Training Officer.   He has also worked for Lincolnshire Police helping with medical forensics within custody.

Kenneth is a prolific fund-raiser for “End of Life” care within the West Lindsey area. Over the last few years he has raised money for the local St Barnabas hospice in Morton, and Palliative Care Unit at the Community Hospital.  He feels that it is important to bring the community together whilst supporting patients and families fighting life threatening conditions.

For nearly 20 years Kenneth has been an active member of Gainsborough Town Council, serving as Mayor twice during this time, thus he will bring considerable experience to our team.
