The Eat Out to Help Out scheme has launched this week, giving families 50 per cent off their restaurant bills in August. There are 3190 participating independent restaurants, cafes and pubs, and outlets from smaller chains in the East Midlands.
New intelligent CCTV will be installed in Gainsborough after a successful bid for Government funding to tackle crime. Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commissioner Marc Jones led the bid for £250,000 to spend on upgrading and installing CCTV in the town.
Market Rasen Leisure Centre has officially opened its doors to the public. Councillors and representatives from Everyone Active, West Lindsey District Council’s partner in the endeavour, attended an opening for the centre on Saturday, 25th July.
