Sir Edward Leigh, our Member of Parliament, for Gainsborough Constituency, attended the Illuminate event on Saturday evening in Gainsborough alongside John Barrett, the West Lindsey District Councillor and Vice Chairman, and wives, where they were also joined by Glenn Puxty and Sheila Bibb, both Gainsborough Town Councillors. This event was organised by WLDC officers, who were also present that evening.

Illuminate was a splendid occasion, featuring an excellent parade in the Town Centre and over twenty workshops led by young people and their parents. The All Saints Church Grounds hosted a fire garden performance with acrobats, and Gainsborough Old Hall contributed to the festivities with various indoor events, showcasing its full potential.

Many onlookers from across West Lindsey attended, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It was truly a great event, and thankfully, the weather remained dry.
