At the recent by-election in the North-West Parish Ward of Gainsborough Town Council local Conservative, Sheila Bibb, was elected for one of the vacant seats. This may be one of the first times that we have actually had a town council member elected on a Conservative ticket. Normally, we tend not to stand on party lines as we firmly believe that at this local level there is not a call for politics.
