Conservative-led West Lindsey District Council has announced a new partnership with mixed-use development and urban regeneration specialists, Muse Developments, to accelerate the regeneration of Gainsborough.
It is a quarter of a century since daily rail services have stopped at Gainsborough Central station. Conservatives have welcomed the announcement that there are to be hourly services Monday to Saturday; something Gainsborough Central station has never experienced since it opened in 1849.
Significant numbers of overweight people and those fighting Type Two diabetes in West Lindsey were two of the major health factors behind multi-million-pound plans to transform leisure and fitness facilities in the district.
