The Gainsborough Conservative Association would like to congratulate Cllr Jackie Brockway and all involved on the result from tonight’s Council meeting.

We fully support the formation of the administration group made up of Conservative councillors supported by councillors from a number of other parties. The constructive way this will be run and the commitment from Cllr Jackie Brockway to full power sharing, will benefit all of the council and end the divisions of the previous administration.

Jackie is an experienced councillor and with the help of the group will ensure that once again West Lindsey is concentrating on the important issues; is running an efficient council delivering value for the tax payer, and a council committed to working for all of West Lindsey. They will also ensure that there are constructive discussions over the local government reorganisation, with West Lindsey having a strong voice at the table.

This is a good result for West Lindsey, and we fully appreciate the hard work the Councillors do for us and wish them well for the future.
